edit /etc/gdm/custom.conf and add the following:
WaylandEnable=true
edit /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and add the following modules:
MODULES=(...nvidia nvidia_modeset nvidia_uvm nvidia_drm...)
or if you want the open source driver add nouveau:
MODULES=(... nouveau ...)
update initramfs image:
mkinitcpio -P
edit /etc/default/grub and add the following:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="loglevel=3 quiet nvidia_drm.modeset=1"
update grub.cfg:
grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
reboot system:
reboot
when system boot enter gnome desktop and confirm you're running with wayland:
